Nin Na Ji - Kyoto World Cultural Heritage

I have written about 'Dai Go Ji' last week. When I came across the building with the name of 'Ni Ou Mon'... I suddenly remembered the existence of 'Nin Na Ji'. Therefore, I have decided to introduce 'Nin Na Ji' this week.

You can find...
5 Storey Pagoda

Beautiful Garden,

statue of gods within the compound of 'Nin Na Ji'.
However, the photos in the above were pretty normal,
especially when most of the temples in Kyoto had
similar structures like 5 Storey Pagoda, etc...

What makes 'Nin Na Ji' so special would be...
'Omuro Sakura'.
This is because the height of the 'Omuro Sakura' tree were pretty short.
As the trees were shorter, you can take a closer look at the Sakura flowers.
Another interesting point about the 'Omuro Sakura' tree would be the fact that
the 'Omuro Sakura' trees will only be in full bloom in mid April. Which makes it
much slower than all the other Sakura trees in Kyouto.

If you want to visit 'Nin Na Ji', you probably might want to pay a visit to the Temple during Spring or probably early April to mid April, especially when the Sakura flowers of 'Omuro Sakura' were at full bloom.
(Actually, I have not seen 'Omuro Sakura' of 'Nin Na Ji' before, but I think I'm regretting it.)

Dai Go Ji - Kyoto World Cultural Heritage

As I need to accomplish a series of troublesome task last week, I have to cease the task of introducing the World Heritage of Kyoto. However, with the accomplishment of all the troublesome task last week, I finally can continue with the the task of introducing the World Heritage of Kyoto. Therefore, let me start with 'Dai Go Ji' this week. The most famous thing about 'Dai Go Ji' would probably be the Sakura flowers within the compound of &aposDai Go Ji'. Besides for the infamous Sakura flowers of 'Dai Go Ji' some of the structures that was built within the compound of 'Dai Go Ji' were pretty interesting too.

Stone Monument of 'Dai Go Ji'

Sakura Tunnel of 'Dai Go Ji'
Within the compound of 'Dai Go Ji', most of the pavement
had Sakura trees planted on both sides of it. Therefore,
during the season of Spring, with the blooming of the
Sakura trees, the pavement of 'Dai Go Ji' will look like
a tunnel surrounded with Sakura flowers.
Note: Although the photos in the above doesn't shows
Sakura flowers in full bloom, but it still looks very
beautiful. Don't you agree with me?

Weeping Sakura of the 'Reihokan'(Museum) of 'Dai Go Ji'
Besides for the Sakura flowers shown in the above,
you can also find some other types of Sakura trees
within the compound of 'Dai Go Ji'.
Note: you can easily find Sakura trees with an age
of more than 100 years old in 'Dai Go Ji'. XD

XD
Sai Dai Mon(Nio Mon)
On both sides of the gate would be the stone statue of 'Nio'.
According to 'Buddhism', 'Nio' is also known as the Guardians
of the great Buddha.
I think the statues look so realistic that to some extent,
the statues can appear to be quite frightening.

Five-Storey Pagoda built during the Heian Period
This was the oldest structure in Kyoto that was made from wood.
According to the Internet, it had also mentioned that the
paintings that was painted on the walls of the Pagoda had
probably set the foundation for Buddism paintings in Japan.

If you want to visit 'Dai Go Ji', you probably might want to pay a visit to the Temple during Spring, especially when Sakura flowers were at full bloom.
(Actually, I have seen the Sakura flowers of 'Dai Go Ji' before, and its really very very beautiful.)
