古都京都の世界文化遺産・上賀茂神社 / Kamigamo Jinja - Kyoto World Cultural Heritage

皆さん、知っていますか？京都の三大祭りはなんですか？京都の三大祭りは五月の葵祭、七月の祇園祭と十月の時代祭です。五月の葵祭は賀茂御祖神社（下鴨神社）と賀茂別雷神社（上賀茂神社）で行われる祭りです。七月の祇園祭は八坂神社で行われる祭りです。山鉾巡行や宵山が中心となっている。十月の時代祭は平安神宮で行われる祭りです。だから、今回世界文化遺産の上賀茂神社を紹介します。
Hi everyone, do you know what are the top 3 most celebrated festival in Kyoto? They are the 'Aoi festival' celebrated in May, the 'Gion Festival' celebrated in July and the 'Jidai festival' that was celebrated in October annually. As for the 'Aoi festival' celebrated in May, the parade will start from the 'Kyoto Imperial Palace' and it will make a stop at 'Shimogamo Jinja' and eventually end at 'Kamigamo Jinja'. As for the 'Gion Festival' celebrated in July, it was a festival that was held throughout the month of July near 'Yasaka Jinja'. Last but not least, the 'Jidai Festival' that was celebrated in the month of October, it was a parade that will start from the 'Kyoto Imperial Palace' all the way to 'Heian Jingu Shrine'. Therefore, I shall introduce 'Kamigamo Jinja' this week.

境内の桜樹、素敵ですね。 The Sakura trees planted in the compound of 'Kamigamo Jinja' was a plus+.

神馬舎 ここに白い神馬が触れます。食べ物と飲み物も飼うことができますよ。 This is one of the stable that was open to the public in Kyoto. These stable were used in keeping horses that was used in major rituals. You can actually have a closer interaction with them. Besides touching the horse, you could also feed them also.

上賀茂神社で結婚式が行われます。 これは僕の夢です。京都のご神社で結婚式が行われます。 You can also held your wedding ceremony at 'Kamigamo Jinja' too. This is my dream to have my wedding held in a Temple in Kyoto.

もし皆さん「上賀茂神社」で参りたかったら、
葵祭りのために、五月の京都へ行った方がいいですよ。
（実は僕は「葵祭り」を参加したことがありませんでした。
しかし、インタネットの写真によると、その祭りが面白そうです。）
If you want to visit 'Kamigamo Jinja', for the sake of the 'Aoi Festival',
I would recommend you to do it in the month of May.
(Actually I have not participate in the 'Aoi Festival' before but according
to the images that was gathered from the Internet on the pictures of
'Aoi Festival', it seems to be a pretty interesting festival to participate in.)

附：へへ、これは「上賀茂神社」の名物「やきもの」です。
美味しいですよ。餡と餅もおいしいですよ。
Note: This is one of the speciality located near 'Kamigamo Jinja'.
It's known as 'Yakimochi'. I personally felt that the skin and the
ingredients of the 'Yakimochi' were fantastically delicious. XD
